A series of pendant lights and table lamps, in which the leading role is played by the light, which is projected through the mouth-blown glass objects.
When light shines through the surface of blown glass, every shape or line becomes visible in its reflection. Structures on the surface of the bell, but also the imperfections and the difference in layer thickness of the glass becomes visible and provide a unique spectacle on the environment.
For this series, the studio has intensively researched the effects of imprints of different shapes and structures in glass. Various constructions and moulds are developed to create the most striking light effects. Projections appear on the surrounding which resemble cloudy skies, rippling water or morning dew creating a soothing, almost hypnotic effect.
The structure in the glass is created at the moment suprême, when the red-hot, almost liquid bubble is on one side pressed into the brutalist steel construction. Directed by the designers, the right combination of temperature, air pressure and gravity leave an imprint of the structure in the glass.
A new bulbous, soft shape appears, being the counterpart of the structured framework, but with its own freeform in between.
The studio developed a custom LED spot, which double serves as mounting bead, creating a floating combination of glass and light. The beam of light is projected almost invisibly on and through the structured glass surface, leaving a soft and mesmerising effect on its surrounding.

Een serie hang- en tafellampen, waarbij de uittreding van licht door een mond-geblazen glas object de hoofdrol speelt. Wanneer licht door geblazen glas schijnt wordt elke vorm of lijn zichtbaar in de reflectie. Vormen en structuren aan de oppervlakte van de bel, maar ook de imperfecties en het verschil in laagdikte van het glas komen naar voren en zorgen voor een uniek schouwspel op de omgeving.
De studio heeft voor deze serie een intensief onderzoek gedaan naar de effecten van afdrukken van verschillende vormen en structuren in glas. Diverse constructies en mallen zijn ontworpen om de meest bijzondere lichteffecten te doen verschijnen. Projecties die lijken op wolkenluchten, kabbelend water of ochtend douw met een rustgevend, bijna hypnotiserend effect.
De structuur in het glas ontstaat op het moment suprême, wanneer de gloeiend hete, nog haast vloeibare bel aan één zijde wordt gedrukt in de brutalistische stalen constructie. Door de juiste combinatie van temperatuur, luchtdruk en zwaartekracht ontstaat een afdruk van de structuur in het glas. Op deze manier is enerzijds de vorm vrij, als een zeepbel, de mal laat immers het overgrote deel van de bel vrij zijn gang gaan, anderzijds wordt de vorm geredigeerd door de ontwerpers met de aangebrachte structuur in de mal.
De studio ontwikkelde een LED spot voor de glazen objecten welke tevens ook voor de ophang mogelijkheid zorgt. Het licht lijkt haast onzichtbaar te ontstaan en schijnt gericht de glooiende glazen vormen aan.
